This document is specific to version 8 of RealProducer. If you are using an earlier version of RealProducer, RealNetworks recommends that you upgrade to version 8. You can purchase RealProducer Plus or download the RealProducer Basic from http://www.realnetworks.com/products/index.html.
This document does not provide step-by-step instructions for using RealProducer. It assumes that you are familiar with the RealProducer user interface and the procedures for encoding clips, which are described in the RealProducer online help, as well as RealProducer Plus User's Guide.
You should be familiar with digitized audio and video, as well as the basic production techniques for creating streaming clips.
